no need to tell anyone that 2012 was the 2nd wettest on record!!

Water, water everywhere.....

Water, water everywhere…..

so its no wonder that water related issues crop up here……..

Over tributary of Burton Beck
The stone slabs have moved and are very slippery. The council have been told, and have given the repair a high priority status.

Watch this space!

On the road below the railway bridge.

This is due to a water course behind the hedge being blocked with debris, and the culvert taking the water to the beck being blocked. Robert Frewen (of J G Hills) is arranging a site visit with the occupier of the land (a tenant). He will be told to clear the obstruction. Ultimately an enforcement order can be made by the county council.
