There’s an old country saying along the lines of “If you see a Rook, it’s a Crow;  if you see Crows, them’s Rooks!”

Well it turns out that the Blackbird nest we though we had, was actually the home of a family of Thrushes: This is the brood on Sunday 29th – the day they all ‘flew the nest”……
