Following on from last winters warm room initiative Hilly and I have decided that we will trial it again for the next 3 weeks so we can gauge response and whether it’s something that the village will support. Every Tuesday, starting 10th October. The Reading Room will be open from 11am until mid afternoon.

A warm fire in the hearth, some hot soup on the stove and a cup of tea in the pot 🫖, and maybe some idle chat and a bit of banter with some occasional laughter thrown in for good measure. All are welcome, £1 per cuppa.

Thanks for your continued support, we’re doing this for the village so we’ll gauge your interest/support and decide whether it’s to carry on during this winter.
