- Various stiles round the village have been replaced with gates, and two field gates have been repaired or replaced by Sun Beck. Thanks have been sent to the Ranger
- A new wooden bridge has been built over Burton Beck
- The Highways Agency have been approached about the problem of lorries driving through the village, and getting stuck under the railway bridge, or failing to manoeuvre the sharp bend. Hopefully, new signs will be put on the A684 warning of low bridge, and unsuitable for heavy vehicles
