Merry Christmas

It’s been a while since the last post here and in recent weeks – due to other commitments – posts here have been all too infrequent but, as we prepare for the ‘big day’ tomorrow, and the year comes to a close let me wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and  Happy New Year.

I’d also like to thank George Tomlin for sending in the photo’s below which, with the wind howling outside and the rain lashing down only serve to demonstrate the wisdom of taking a winter break in warmer climes at this time of year.

FESTIVE FRIDAY

Finally, I’d like to remind everyone about the special ‘Festive Friday’ event in the Reading Room this Friday between 3:00pm and 5:00pm – there will be mulled wine, mince pies and lots of singing  (old songs, new songs, carols – whatever you enjoy!)
