Memorial Bench In Memory Of Keith Loadman

Memorial Bench In Memory Of Keith Loadman

Many of you will know that Keith passed away at the beginning of July this year. Born at Unthank Farm where he lived and worked all of his life. He attended school here in Constable Burton at Village School walking along the beck and back on every school day.

Keith was a leading member of our community. Parish Councillor, member of the Reading Room Committee and, in years gone by, a leading member of Constable Burton Cricket Team. He, quite simply, and supported by his wife Judi, loved Constable Burton, the Parish and the community within it.

Led by the Reading Room Committee it is our intention to purchase a memorial bench in memory of Keith. It will be positioned on the Village Green with a plaque with the following proposed wording:

In Memory of Keith William Loadman
1941 – 2022
You brought about so much kindness to the folk around..

The quotation is from a poem written by Judi in memory of Keith.

If you would like to contribute to this memorial please give your donation to Barry Snarr, George Tomlin or Hilly Dobson. Cheques should be made payable to Constable Burton Reading Room. For BACs use Sorting Code 20-25-29 Account Number: 20279471 and use the reference ‘Memorial’.
